Kind of a funny way to put this into perspective. I'm willing to take a dive for 2.1. We won't even have to push up that far, just enough to lay er down. Easiest scheme out there.
Good call TQ. I've been talking about this relatively unknown event lately, when people speak of the impact biking has in the area. Racehorse Creek was a world class whitewater kayaking run that was obliterated in that landslide. The area decimated by the landslide was the premier section of the whole run. Unfortunately, the kayaking community in Whatcom Co is tiny, and there's just not enough kinetic energy to surmount any kind of executable plan. It was instantly obvious what caused that landslide. That crown begins at the bottom of a ginormous clear-cut.
It's all just wrong right now. Fingers crossed for a brighter future. Keep fighting the good fight.
I once heard a statement which seemed to resonate with me...
"If you don't grow up by 40, you don't have to"
40 years old, and still given 'er. Good article and comments.
Build it...ride it! Such a dedicated crew. Proud to be a Hamster.
JK is all good, and still killing it.

Amazing people...here's another one.

One of my best friends, world class whitewater kayaker, rippin' mt biker, shreddy skier, solid surfer, all-around athlete, oh...and (hand's down) one of THE nicest people I've ever met (even before the accident). Unfortunately, mt biking got the best of him one day, and he's now a quadraplegic. I would love nothing more than to see him up on his own feet/bike/boards again someday. Keep pushing it ya'll...it's for everyone out there strugglin' with these kinds of injuries. Peace.
